Honor someone who has fought breast cancer.  JOIN US ON APRIL 27th!

The Walk of Life is a 5K walk/run through historic Montgomery. Each year, the Walk of Life delivers a rallying moment to celebrate our survivors, honor those who've fought breast cancer and raise money for those who cannot afford breast cancer screenings in Alabama. By delivering more screenings to more Alabamians who need them, breast cancer can be detected early and lives can be saved.

Be part of this incredible day by starting/joining a team, participating as an individual or volunteering on April 27. You'll be given an "I'm walking/running in honor of" sign to wear during the event, so you can write in the name of the person you're honoring. The 5K walk/run starts at 8:30am. After crossing the finish line, join thousands united by a common desire to prevent breast cancer at our After Party at Riverfront Park with food, drinks, music and kid's activities!

The Walk of Life benefits The Joy to Life Foundation, which provides free mammograms and other breast cancer screenings, when necessary, to medically under-served women and men in Alabama. Since 2001, the Joy to Life Foundation helped provide 95,000 mammograms in Alabama. Joy to Life also provides limited grants when needed, builds and supports breast cancer awareness among all Alabamians, and promotes over-all health, well being, and education throughout the state.
