Thanks for visiting the Team Tara Walk of Life page!
On February 23rd, 2017, Tara Osborne was diagnosed, at the age of 40, with Stage 2 IDC-HER2+ Breast Cancer. She required a double mastectomy and 17 rounds of chemo & immunotherapy treatment. By God's grace, today she is cancer-free and just a few months away from completing her treatment.
Team Tara be participating in the Walk of Life on April 21nd in downtown Montgomery. We formed this team to raise money to help more women, like my sister, survive a breast cancer diagnosis. In Alabama alone, 3,680 women were expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer last year alone. Many do not have the resources for screenings. These women desperately need our help to detect and treat breast cancer EARLY, so they’ll be more likely to survive it. The event raises money to provide free mammograms to women who cannot afford them. Over 11,000 free mammograms have been provided since 2001!
We invite you to join our team by clicking on "Join Our Team." If you can't join us, you can register as a 'virtual participant' or you can support our team by clicking on the "Donate Now" button on my page. Every $100 we raise can provide a mammogram!
Thanks for considering our request!
